From my fifty-some years as a professional artist, I have found that receiving payment for such work usually requires satisfaction that the object produced is both desired and really needed. Either for its functionality or its beauty.

So take time to look lovingly for images that may truly inspire embellishments by you. Above is just one that my entire family seems to like. As I am recommending to you, it somehow relates to their artistic heart and mind. And once you get going on something, a Good indicator that this is a worthwhile endeavor will be when you simply cannot stop working on it.

...of all the drawings produced by early 2020, only 18 had been totally completed. And none of that group has been done by hand — only digitally so far. Which means time for painting on canvas, montaging, cropping, working with crayons, with pastels color pencils and so on is still scarce for me. Haven't even carried these pieces to a gallery or shown them to more than a handful of my peers yet. So with COVID-19 hitting us so hard...Tick-Tock...right now totally be the time to find all the co-artist heartsoulists I can. To get them happily involved for free. Thus by having redesigned my original plan for a book just a little, heart brain heartsoul should at least help others enjoy their alone time as much as me, don't you think? So the question becomes, straight out, have you seen anything in my collections worth finishing? Or maybe appealing enough to consider hbhs being a permanent activity? Even further, intriguing enough to entertain the idea of seriously getting into fine art for the long term after the corona threat is over? If so, I would truly be thrilled to get a call from and compare notes with you about how to make hbhs a global art project.
