TO SHARE IN A PALATABLE WAY HOW ONE COULD SERIOUSLY FEEL THAT PEACE IS POSSIBLE IN THE NEAR FUTURE, I FEEL THEY MUST LAY A SOUL ON THE LINE. THEIR OWN, NO ONE ELSE"S. BECAUSE IT IS THE ONLY ONE THEY HAVE ANY CHANCE OF KNOWING FOR SURE TO BE TRUE.
Try as me might, I cannot find an abbreviated way to convince anyone that what’s being proposed is absolutely feasible. Not without providing an explanation for each of its facets. Not without freely providing the hundreds of renderings promised with which you can name and color your own version of each image. Only from exposing completely the deepest recesses of one individual’s heart brain heartsoul – in this case mine – can the true truth of a lifelong experience with an elusive subject be productively shared. Enough so to win a modicum of belief from another. In this case that the collaboration of every heart brain heartsoul could ignite, in sync, each solution essential for bringing about world peace.
Certainly music has studiously invigorated the love that individuals have for one another. Maybe its time for visual artists to take a turn. Why not their manifestations of revolutionary fine art expression to pursue group goals and allegiance to planet earth. Having made my living as an artist for 47 years (1962-2009) I felt particularly suited to attempt the creation of a conceptual project capable of eradicating any further reliance on war for all time. Increasing this confidence a bit more was my reputation for being a one man ad agency and fourteen years with advertising agencies where I served as both art director and creative director. Which resolved the gaps in my batch of messaging abilities. So from 1995 until 2009 I was able to include branding, design, illustration and writing in my list of offerings. Which made it difficult for me to remove my portfolio from the Web. Because an instinct was guiding me towards attempting one last altruistic effort. One that would require me to share award winning credentials and a very large showing of work. WORKING TO ENACT SUCH AN INITIATIVE HAS BEEN MY LABOR OF LOVE, AND ( I BELIEVE ) HIS ASSIGNMENT TO US, SINCE 2009
Bringing it to fruition has been my dream since the birth of the www. Suddenly it had become a reality – that it was now more possible than ever for any one voice to make better the condition of our planet and its people. In my case, for example, it became apparent that the juxtapositioning unrelated good words and images often aroused in the viewer a third positive view. So beholding such unexpected combos as bunny/strawberry, opponents/plants, stag/star-heart, doe/saturn and alien group/praying hands begins the process of feeling new feelings, contemplating original ideas. Especially when one’s inner being has opened itself to the possibility of creating a better way. In the field of images shown above there are only visual depictions.
