Having spent my entire career witnessing its power, this was the banner moment. To hear a President of the United States say that creativity is our 6th sense reaffirmed my commitment to using everyone’s creative process for the achievement of world peace. So to every problem-solving human, which is all of us, I want to explain the best methodology I know for determining one’s own favorite peaceful idea: (1) Once your sights are set on our goal, put it on the back burner of your mind to simmer; (2) Gather enough visual and written items on the subject to get your creative juices flowing rampantly; (3) Then by pairing them with no particular agenda in mind, while vapors from the back burner waft over the whole, you will feel compelled to scribble; (4) Thereafter, having taken a relaxed moment to further dwell on the goal and juxtapositions as they relate to your own history, the scribbles will grow to become a little longer and neater; (5) now, if it hasn’t happened already, the formulation of ideas will have begun to the extent that a serious concept is ready and waiting just around the corner for you to add some details; (6) But if it isn’t, please find hundreds of customized drawings herein that are loaded with juxtaposed relationships between positive subjects such as forgiveness, healing, rapture, love, miracle, peace, recovery, utopia, exploration and contact– all of the future possibilities that humanity won’t want to miss if we can help it. And finally, via perusal of these images, I think that you are bound to find at least one that appeals enough to color and name– even more work intent on propelling a heart brain heartsoul towards discovering and gifting its most uniquely valuable contribution to the indispensable cause of achieving peace on earth. But it is the work that we are blessed with, you see. Because it satisfies us, rewards us, saves us and makes our lives worth living. And no matter whether the content of your picture relates to your peaceful idea or not, it is the creative act you are experiencing that channels your effort to the original peaceful goal. Which always goes best while humming John Lennon’s song, “Imagine”.
So in addition to his titling of the 6th sense, forever has President Biden also said that America can accomplish anything. And adding to that, with God’s help, I would like to equally credit every member of the human race.
...is an infallible way to get one's creative juices flowing. Take the prospect of naming a baby, for example—how motivating to entitle a child who will be long remembered? And how about, from the drawing above, try beginning by focusing on just one element that is appealing. Upon considering its role in the picture or a juxtaposition it helps to suggest, I think you will find that descriptive words do flow from you, too. And with a mind to coloring its spaces in a way that supports one's title, I believe anyone can feel aesthetic satisfaction. Just remember, it is the naming that steers your viewer's path to understanding a picture. How you lead the way via naming and color application surely should be different from my original intent. How excitedly anxious me be to one day see interpretations of this work by others.
Thus far, I have been able to upload about a third of my fine art drawings to this Web site. All free with many more coming soon. So please receive whatever you need to get started from Downloads
